Travel Diaries: Paris

Day 14: Paris

The last day… and the only day on this trip that I didn’t have anything planned. it was so nice to leisurely walk through le Jardin du Luxembourg, have lunch nearby at a little crêperie that had galettes (gluten free savory crêpes made from buckwheat flour), walk along the Seine on the way to Notre Dame, while sipping a delicious vin chaud.

This was the first time I’d seen Notre Dame since the fire, and the reconstruction process was so interesting to learn about. They have informational signs all the way around that describe the work being done in detail.

This day was basically a very long, very leisurely, very beautiful, wandering walk - my absolute favorite kind of day, complete with Fall foliage and lovely weather.

I was, of course, sad this was our last day in Europe… I always despise coming back to America because I feel more at home elsewhere. 🙃 But I guess it is always nice to sleep in my own bed again after a long trip.

I guess it’s time to start planning another adventure ❤️ If you’d like to know when I have specials in my travel agency, send me a message and I’ll add you to my client email list. I usually send out emails 1-2 times per month. 🥰
